Introducing Violet by Vengatass

"My fondest memories as a child... were that of my tiny little feet inevitably being drawn toward the kitchen by majestic aromas of tempered fresh curry leaves in rich ghee accompanied by the sounds and smells of pungent ginger and garlic being crushed with a pestle against the sides of some weathered stone mortar with such rhythm it almost created a melody. Usually, all that these eyes could see at that tender age was the silhouette of impossibly long legs wrapped in a traditional saree scurrying around the kitchen... these were the legs of my aunts and grandmothers who's passion and love for food infatuated me and fueled my obsession for cooking."
